Being a mom

I can't believe how much I love this little girl! I have a new appreciation for life and for serving others. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for her.
My mom flew out one day after I had Avalee. It was perfect timing! What a HUGE blessing it was to have her here to help us all. She cooked, cleaned, dejunked, organized, painted toes and still had time to love on her newest granddaughter. I have a better understanding of a mothers love and I appreciate my mom so much. I don't know what we would have done without her here to help us!

She will sleep in any position and loves to be cuddled.
Everytime Avalee falls asleep her mouth is wide open! So cute.

She is here! Thad and Summer had so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving because at 4:30 am they had their sweet little baby girl.

Avalee Mae Stott.

She was 8.5 lbs and 21.5 in.
Thad kept telling me (Jade, Thad's sister) how amazing Summer was. She was in labor for 28 hours! She is superwoman. Congrats Summer and Thad, she is absolutely beautiful!! Can't wait to meet and kiss her! Love you!

Changing my due date

I am officially changing my due date from Nov. 22nd to the 27th! I went to the doctor yesterday with only 6 days to go. After he got done checking me he said that I was not dilated at all and that the baby is weighing in at a whooping 8.1 lbs! I'm grateful to have a healthy strong baby, but please remember, I have to push her out! With my family history from my mom, sister and grandma it is starting to look like a real possibility that this baby is going to be showing up fashionably late. My doctor and I discussed inducing me and decided on Nov. 27th as the big day if she doesn't come before that. I am telling myself now that I have 10 more days to go and if she comes before that I will be pleasantly surprised.

This is one of Thad's projects that he did for school. Isn't the 3D amazing! We are working on getting other projects up but the computer hasn't been cooperating lately.

I LOVE free stuff

A few weeks ago I was bored at work and happened to check out the free section on craigslist. I totally lucked out and found this cute bassinet and baby bouncer! To top it off it was only a few miles down the road! I think we are ready for our precious little one to arrive.
